Instructor - Registration & Course Evaluation Information

It is the duty of all rebreather manufacturers to ensure that when a diving system is sold, our clients are able to confidently choose a training agency and Instructor that will fulfill the training requirement.

As a RESA member, KISS has dedicated much time to the development of industry training standards, that exceed other standards. KISS is happy to incorporate the RESA standards into the KISS standards.

As well as publishing the updated RESA - KISS standards in all training materials, the KISS TQA program incorporates training agency - instructor requirements which will aid in ensuring that all KISS programs meet our standards. These include:

KISS Instructors work through a number of different KISS approved - training agencies. In order to continue as a KISS Rebreather LLC approved instructor, all instructors will be required to register with KISS annually. Emails will be sent directly to instructors. Any current instructors that do not receive the email should contact KISS at, info@kissrebreathers.com. In order to remain current, all Active Status instructors should register within 30 days, or email KISS with notification on when they will do so.

Course evaluation forms are also required. In our goal to ensure that all students receive the training that they need, and have paid for, these forms which outline the minimum required skills by KISS Rebreathers must be completed. Each form outlines the skills, along with performance scoring, and confirmation signatures by both the instructors and students. At the completion of each course, these forms must be emailed to KISS at, info@kissrebreathers.com in order for the student to be listed as a qualified and trained KISS diver (required for ALL course – new or used units). Please note that the skills listed are the KISS minimum standards, and each training agency may require extra work.

KISS Rebreather LLC is happy to work with training agencies and instructors. Together, we can ensure the education and safety of all rebreathers.
